Workshop: Paint a Tropical Pot - Sunday 7 May 2023 - 10.30am @ What We Make Design Market

Venue: Bulimba Community Centre, 1 Barramul Street Bulimba.

In this 2.5 hour workshop, you'll learn how to paint an abstract tropical pot with Ann and Anthoney of The Artful Grimmer. We will show you how to create your own unique abstract design so you can take home a beautiful piece of artwork for your home or office. All materials will be provided for you to complete a 14cm x 14cm terracotta pot. You will take home your painted pot, a brush and sealant for you to apply once your pot is dry, and the know-how to paint your own pots at home.

Where can I park?

The Bulimba Community Centre is right next to Memorial Park, just 2 minutes from Oxford Street. There is street parking available in surrounding streets.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable on the day. The paint we use is water soluble and will come out of most fabrics in the wash, but best wear something you don't mind getting paint on. You are most welcome to bring your own apron. We will have lots of example pots and colour combinations to share with you for inspiration for your own design too.

Is my ticket transferable?

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, we will confirm your RSVP electronically when you arrive.

What is your refund policy?

Please email us as soon as possible at hello@theartfulgrimmer.com if you are unable to attend your workshop. Unfortunately, cancellations within 7 days of the event date are not eligible for a refund.

What if the workshop is cancelled?

If we cancel the workshop due to COVID or other unforeseen circumstance, you will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to reschedule for another event.
