Meet the grimmers
Ann Nguyen & Anthoney Rimmer
Ann left a career in law in search of adventure, and is now in the role of her dreams; one in which she can be creative every day. She discovered her green thumb during the pandemic in 2020 and started painting terracotta pots to house her growing indoor jungle collection. She started painting pots for friends and family and before long, for fellow plant lovers all around Australia. Ann enjoys using bright colours, shiny metallics and bold shapes in her artworks.
Anthoney is an artist and engineer and loves combining his two interests. He leads the technical operations at Grimmer HQ but also enjoys making art in various mediums. He has experimented with ceramics, watercolours and acrylics but has more recently followed Ann’s lead on painting pots. Anthoney enjoys textures, layered colours and three-dimensional art.
The Kids & Pets
It's a family affair at Grimmer HQ. The Grimmer kids Austin and Sienna contribute to each pot from the sanding, priming, sealing and packing. We also have the good-est studio supervisors: Archie the pug and our cats Enoki and Archie.
